Whitney Elizabeth Houston was the youngest of the children of singer Dionne Warswick and gospel singer Cissy Houston. Whitney Elizabeth Houston grew up in a musical household. These songs helped Houston to achieve the seven US top tens, which surpassed even those of the Beatles. The album itself sold 3 million copies during its initial year in the US and went on to sell 25 million worldwide winning it the very first one of six Grammies. Whitney, her album Whitney, released in 1987, featuring popular singles Where Do Broken Hearts go? and I Wanna Dance With Somebody, continued her earlier success. However it came with The Bodyguard (1996) that established her as the top selling album in music. The film, and her performance in it was not appreciated, but the soundtrack and her rendition of Dolly Parton's I Will Always Love You were charting for months in the charts, and she sold nearly 44 million singles and albums all over the world. Also in 1993 when she got married Bobby Brown, an ex-New Edition artist who gave the sole child of her marriage, Bobbi Kristina Brown. It was about this time that her widely documented substance abuse began. By 1996 she was a daily addict.

Dana Bash or Dana Ruth Schwartz in the way she's popularly known as, is an American anchorwoman reporter who also serves as CNN's political anchorwoman and political correspondent. She has also produced some of the network's weekend shows such as Evans & Novak' Late Edition and Inside Politics.' She also worked with other well-known channels, such as NBC as well as CBS. Bash is a recipient of many honors and awards. Elle magazine once listed her in the Women in Washington Power List.
